Nine squirrels by happypat

Nine squirrels

The squirrels love our bird table!
We have lots of trees specially in the front garden so they all hang out there & have meals on tap!
We have never seen as many as nine before....more squirrels than birds sometimes!

I thought squirrels were supposed to hibernate?

Harry took this photo on his iPhone this morning through the window which isn’t that clean with all the wind & rain there has been. Over edited to try & pick the little thieves out!

Three good things:
1. Lovely pictures of the holiday makers meeting up with bride & groom in Christchurch.
2. Harry & I have been sorting our clothes, what to take with us...a bit more complicated this time with two lots of wedding clothes to take.
3. A bright sunny day....better than we had hoped! ....spoke too soon it’s rainy & blowing a gale all of a sudden!
Wow, that’s a lot...

That has to be a record! I was trying to get rid of a bag of stale peanuts in the shell one time and started putting them on the bird feeder. I think the local squirrels told their friends, who told their friends, ha! Exciting times for you, two weddings on another continent, oh my!

Ooh ! Pat I thought it was a scene from an open air zoo -- ha ha ! You do have a lot of the little critters to entertain you while helping themselves to the bird food ! Love to see their antics but fortunately we have only an occasional visitor to our garden - I think Alfie must deter them !!
Exciting time ahead as you sort out your luggage for your hols and weddings !

Oh my, you have a lot of squirrels. I get so excited when I see one at our feeder - it's a relatively rare occurrence. However, we have the reds, so I guess there are a lot less of them. This is a very cute image!
