The little daffodils coming up....a lovely promise of the coming Spring
I love the miniature daffodils, neater & not as common as the usual Spring flower....
They are coming up in an old cattle feed trough. The wood is rotten & we were going to empty it & throw the trough on the bonfire but I saw the tips poking through the soil.
Three good things:
1. Dot & I have been to see Emma this afternoon. I enjoyed it after my ears had tuned into the speaking parts. Must be a sign of old age but I really have to concentrate what they are saying. Dot was asleep for a third of the film.
2. A full cinema...glad to see so much support for one of our favourite places to spend a couple of hours.
3. Bacon & eggs!
Such a lovely sign of Spring ! Love these little daffodils they stand better to all weathers than the usual tall ones ! Cinema was the best place to be on a day like today !But if I went to the cinema I would be like your Dot !!
@beryl The cinema screen today was screen six & it was full. Couldn’t believe it as-sometimes there is only us in. We had to sit near the front today & we like the back row....still had our butties thought!
I love going to the cinema...the flicks!
There is a Cinema at Plélan, just 10-15 mins in the car. R doesn’t enjoy cinema, so often go alone...and last week went to see 1917. It’s a technically remarkable film insofar as the viewer is the film. There were moments when the action was such, I could hardly breathe. Do go!
@s4sayer we have seen 1917 Margo....thought it was wonderful, done in one take too I believe. Harry doesn’t like the cinema either but I do go on my own sometimes....you don’t go to talk so why not! I was shocked at that bit in the middle...no spoilers but so sad!
