George & Annie are the couple that lived for five years in our rented side of the farmhouse.
They moved away & these days spend much of their time in Spain.
They always come & visit when they are over here.
We were witnesses at their wedding quite a few years ago now.
Three good things:
1. Catching up with news.
2. Baby Brussels sprouts.
3. I haven’t eaten a chocolate for three days!!
@boxplayer@busylady I don’t know how I’ve managed it as you can probably see the unopened box of Lindt truffles on the sideboard.
The key word here is unopened!!
Well done re the chocs !! even an unopened box on the sideboard = I find they can stay unopened , but once opened they soon go ! (If that makes sense !) Lovely to have visitors to exchange to news and gossip !!
How lovely to have visitors! We had a quick visit from Sophie and her mum Louise bringing our Christmas presents. Barb’s son Colin now free of covid and back at work so hoping we can all finally get together! I have so missed seeing people!
@pamknowler
That’s the biggest thing I find, don’t mind not going places but the lack of visits & meeting with friends is hard specially if you happen to
Live alone.
@julzmaioro Ha ha yes I’m hoping I can wean myself off chocolate, it’s so addictive! I never used to eat it so much…..Harry & I had boxes we never even wanted to eat but now…..😱
I smiled when I read your own comment! Lovely photo though, and so nice that they keep coming back to see you, despite what you did to George's head! ;-)

Great self control re chocolate
