We were home from an anniversary meal out yesterday and smelt baking as we opened the front door. My son, who had by then gone to bed, had left us a home baked lemon drizzle cake in the kitchen and a rather good looking bottle of wine.
We were too full to cut into the cake last night, but did so this evening and can thoroughly recommend his baking.
