So the last four days have been spent at the Edinburgh Fringe festival and consequent upon much time being spent in shows and walking between them, whilst being attentive to our hosts - my sister and brother-in-law, I find myself badly behind on the project once again. There was very little time for photography, so I have few pictures to select from but will catch up soon.
It may take me a little longer to view and comment - but I will do so eventually and take my time so that I can enjoy your photos too. Thank you all, for an overwhelming response to my Fork Handles. I was genuinely surprised.
This first Edinburgh photo was taken on the Royal Mile, where street entertainers perform and artists compete for attention and try to persuade the punters to come to their show. At over 3000 events to choose from - most of these running daily - it is no mean task planning your day at the Ed Fringe! We saw five shows on Friday, and had a brief chance to meet up with our son whilst he was giving out flyers for his 'Improv Musical' on the Royal Mile. How this street performer (who performs by staying perfectly still balanced on a bike) manages to keep such a fixed position with all the hustle and bustle around him, I have no idea.
