I am going back a couple of weeks to grab an image that I rather liked. The wet and grey won today, and I came home empty handed.
It is proving hard to adjust to the shorter timespan for daylight photography and I am wondering how I made it all the way through last winter as an amateur 365 beginner. Nearly one year since I started this project and Mr H is looking forward expectantly to the end of the year and with it, a possibility that I might release my commitment.
We will have to see about that! With almost a month having been left blank through December and early January, I feel that at the very least I should see things through to 365 entries.
The flowery lace detail from The Faces - with its blue sky and clouds reflection - cheers me on this dull day. The side of the sculpture is covered in these patterns, representing Bedford's history and tradition of lace making.
Beautiful detail. It is trickier to rethink the shorter days and the less colourful abundance. I found it incredibly uplifting, as winter is tough on my brain, to be looking for beautiful images through those winter months.
A very pretty representation of Bedford's history Helen. You do have some unusual art works in your area and I'm enjoying getting to see them. Hope you do continue after the year end as you have so much to show.
It's like an aerial view of a land where the ground reflects the sky and clouds. (Either that or I need to check my meds :) When the season doesn't cooperate, it's tough to find both the motivation to make photos and a worthy subject. 365 is what one makes of it, so on the hottest or wettest days here I caught up on my editing backlog. I enjoy your photos and hope you find the motivation to continue.
