Accentuated violet

Well I am back to flowers, which is a shame because I was hoping for something different for today. I set out along the river away from town to investigate the wilder side of the outdoors and came back two and a half hours later with a card full of blossom and catkins.

A last little circuit around the park to the crocus patch that had me in heaven earlier on this week but without the light conditions. Many had been squashed by the rain. So I salvaged my shot for the day by accentuating edges in photoshop and enjoying the shapes.

Off out this evening, so another weekend has passed by. Hope to catch up with you all tomorrow.
Well done -- color is perfect as is the definition of the petals

This sort of composition would be good turned into a water colour! But its good the way it is too!

That processing works brilliantly with the croci.

These were obviously from the Embankment in Bedford? I thought they looked lovely as I passed them yesterday

Love the purple and the raindrops.

The delicacy of the blossoms is highlighted by the processing I think. One can almost feel the weight of the raindrops on the petals. I admire your discipline.
