Green eyed monster lemon and lime

I failed to be enamoured by the selection of greens on my early morning walk to the hospital and remained uninspired by the private hedges that seemed to dominate disproportionately.

In my fasting state, having pulled the number 57 from the dispenser, with a long tealess wait ahead of me, the menacing bright red of the phlebotomint tabbards became my next fixation.

Inspiration was no easier at lunch time and so I nipped into Ldls looking for some shapely, or shiny or luscious green to take home and came out with one lime.

I rather liked the lime with my favourite beer bottle creating a lemon shaped shadow. A bit of messing around with this to establish it as a composition of shapes more than a serious attempt at still life. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the green eyed monster lemon and lime.
Well done finding such an effective green. I love the lights and patterns on the bottle

Your narrative makes the photo! The green is very effective and the title makes me smile.

The green eyed monster is fabulous.
I can relate to your fasting tests. Had two very long fasting sessions lately. It is so nice to be able to drink tea again though.

This is so cool. It seems like it has been a very trying day for you.
I would never of picked the beer bottle. Looks far more romantic.

The lime almost looks yellow next to the deep green of the bottle, I mean, monster.

Very creative, Helen! Your green eyed monster works quite well for your rainbow 'green' challenge. Fun narrative, as always. :-)
