Early morning dip

I wasn't brave enough (or even prepared) to take an early morning dip. But found that others were.

The focus on the foreground was a deliberate attempt to keep the bathers at a distance from the viewer, as if peeping in on a private scene (which indeed I was). I also liked the dew drops on the grasses.

I like that you didn't focus on the people. It gives you the opportunity to wonder whether or not they will or won't. Lovely image.

My Guy is finished with the pool. I have another month at least. When it gets down to 12-14C, I have to pack it in.

For me, the dew laden grasses are the whole image. the golden morning light is so very beautiful. great comp and super DoF..
