097 - I make no apology for yet another shot of York Minster. This shot is taken from the city walls, and shows the Minster towering over other buildings bathed in sunshine.
The storm clouds beyond the Minster gave a tremendous downpour in villages north east of the city, with flash flooding in Flaxton and Stockton on the Forest.
Amazingly I managed to walk the 2 miles home before the downpour hit the northern part of York.
Who wouldn't love York Minster. The city is a fabulous place. I'd love to se some more pics of the byways of the city ... I recall and it is a looong time ago The Shambles? So much history in the city of the white rose !

Thank you Sarah - the storm here was certainly spectacular, and I was very relieved to get home before it caught up with me!
