When I post a picture to my project, I send him a link so that he can have a look; but not today. He can't know that I've been crocheting a warm, cozy hat for him — until Valentine's Day! It's only three days away, but I'll have this done and all wrapped up by then.
When he sees me crocheting hats for charity, my beloved husband often comments that he'd love one to wear when he's blowing snow off the driveway; so I'm hoping for snow. I can't wait to see him wear his new hat! This cold, bright, winter morning makes a hot cup of coffee and crocheting all the more enjoyable. There's love in every stitch. ♥
What a lovely gesture -- and your photography of your gift shows off the details of the hand work. Years ago I also made a hat for my husband to wear when he was snow blowing, but he treasured it too much for that and ultimately ended up only wearing it once when I took his photo. He was born and raised in western PA, like you!
I do hope that he loved this new hat which has been so lovingly made. Each link in the wool is immaculately formed and with your photography, so attractively presented.
