Freedom by janetb

Freedom

Why some of my yellow daffodils changed color over the years remains a mystery, and I’m okay with it. In fact, I quite like the surprise of seeing what each spring will bring. This year’s crop — a bumper crop! — produced some of the original yellow; but among the yellow were many more white and white with yellow or orange cups than ever before. I choose to see them as reminders that I am not in control; and I’m okay with it, too. In fact, I quite like the freedom!

We make a lot of plans, but the LORD will do what he has decided.
— Proverbs 19:21

I love the message you draw from this display. It is certainly one that I am learning this week. Your focus on this is superb. That one white daffodil is standing out as if to say 'look at me, I count too'

That is one of the prettiest (and most unusual color) I've seen. Your focus on it is spot on - and what a lovely narrative to go with it. Fav

What gorgeous lighting, Janet - and I love that white daffodil - How interesting that it was once one of the yellow ones.

It’s so pretty and unique since it’s facing you and not in the same direction as the others.
