On my walk through the garden this afternoon, I met with this lovely invitation. While a cool walk in our beloved woodlands was certainly tempting, I kept to the sunny path around the pool and looked for butterflies. Although hazy, hot and humid, a slight breeze had the beeblossom swaying in the grill bed off to my left; and how I love swaying things in the garden. Sure enough, a particular beeblossom attracted a bee; but just for a moment. The moment was, however, long enough for me to glimpse its golden body glistening; and how I love glimpses of gold in the garden.
Lovely to be transported back to your garden and contemplate the choice between the woodland trails and the sunny path. I have missed you bringing your surroundings to life in beautiful images and prose.
