I pulled this down off the shelf the other day. It's old. I turned it on first thing this morning, and now there's a fragrant little pool of melted wax beginning to form in the well on top; but it's the pin dots of light emitted from the cutouts in the pottery that draw me at the moment. The warm glow makes the kitchen feel cozy. I'd forgotten how much I love this scented wax warmer. I wonder if "they" still make these nowadays.
The day I pulled this down, I found three old wax “Potpourri Tarts” on the shelf, too. Surprisingly, they'd retained their scents. I asked him to choose his favorite, and now the pool’s growing wider as Eucalyptus warms. Its sweet, earthy fragrance mingles with that of my freshly brewed coffee; and the day’s off to a lovely start.
