The stone-like bulb protruded just slightly from the soil about seven weeks ago; and like brittle brown pages in an old. empty journal, last year's brown leaves showed no sign of a new story. One could have thought the worst; and were it not for hope, I might have. Instead, I watched expectantly day after day until one day I saw it — a faint speck of the palest green and the most lovely, promising shine to it! It didn't let me down. His story never does. His story is always nothing short of miraculous.
Open your eyes and there it is! By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can’t see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being.
