With spring comes the most glorious light in the back of the house. It brightens the kitchen no matter the weather. Often, I can't help but just stop and stare. Even this morning's dense cloud cover and steady rain couldn't stop spring's gift from optimistically setting my old rooster and mini daffs aglow. It took a while for me to turn my attention to the day's tasks.
