Thank you, Lord, for orchids with all of their amazing anatomy.

Off I went this morning to the first of four photography classes at Phipps Conservatory. Our first assignment was to photograph orchids paying particular attention to our focus point and to use the widest aperture available to create a very shallow depth of field. I'm now in love with orchids and their amazing anatomy!

The flower is the poetry of reproduction. It is an example of the eternal seductiveness of life.
- Jean Giraudoux, French novelist
I love the vibrant pink! We usually see orchids by Easter.

You express yourself so eloquently in your biography, and it was such a pleasure to read. My last project was a gratitude journal, so I can't wait to follow yours and maybe get some pointers. I found it challenging but very rewarding, and am pleased to see someone else trying it. Thanks for letting me follow you! 😊
