Thank you, Lord, for Mike working hard on the pond — beautifying things for Spring!
On went the waders, and in he went. Four hours later, Springtime algae no longer sways in the bog and streambed, leaves no longer cover the pond's floor; and the two concrete frogs are back to spitting streams of water, which the fish love. Happy hours of fish feeding and watching coming soon!
I’m tagging this for the 52-Week Challenge, which is: Rule of space (Your subject should be facing the frame, walking into the frame, this keeps your subject “in” the frame and engaging with it. Give your subject room to move.)
This is a wonderful portrait! How nice that your pond is ready for spring now. Whenever my son cleans ours, I make him shower off before I let him back in the house ...Our pond smells terrible when the goop is stirred up that settles to the bottom each winter :).
I love this as a composition and it shows the hard concentration Mike is putting into his work. You must have such a beautiful garden. I love the twisted tree at the back too.
