I love the way the rising sun shows up in different windows throughout the year. In January, no more shining in the front windows — it's shining in the side. I ran into the diningroom with my camera this morning when I saw this. Within minutes, the beautiful scene disappeared; so I'm thrilled to have this remembrance. It calls to mind:
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

I praise you, Lord, for the January sun shining in the window — the side window this time — and for its ever present reminder of You, the One True Light.
I love the detail you can see in the basket on top of the cabinet and the green colour in the windows, despite the almost blinding sunlight. You are capturing the good things about winter. Winter sun is so special.
