Clouds and Hawk At Summer Lake Reedit

We've been having really windy and rainy weather so I've been using the time to purge some of my old photos since my external hard drive is getting pretty full. Instead of being out with my camera, I am reediting some old shots just for fun.
Thanks for all your visits, support, comments, suggestions, favs
Wonderful land and cloudscape, nice to catch the hawk flying by :)

It's our good fortune to be able to see this one from your archives. I love that hawk at eye level against the various patterns in the landscape.

There is a lot to see here! Love those clouds and the bird (hawk?) flying - the colors are terrific. Nice job of editing.

What an amazing capture. The landscape and clouds are fascinating, and how cool to have the hawk fly by. Did you know you had captured it at the time, or was it an unexpected surprise?

@skstein actually I had shot the hawk moments before with terrible composition. It is a composite image. I wanted to see if I could pull it off. I have mixed feelings about it...id never put it on my wall, try to sell it, but it was good editing practice. The light on the hawk isn't quite right for the rest of the photo and I struggled with where to put it because I didn't want it to be as small as it would have been farther into the image. When I shot it, it was flying alongside the truck I was in and was in a pretty similar spot. Do you think it works ok?

Terrific edit Jane. You've turned it into a piece of art. I think given your objective you couldn't have done any better x

@jgpittenger I would never have guessed you had added it if I hadn't read your comment.
