Hanging Out with the Boys with Textures

Best on black. I drove down to the elk viewing area to practice with my new lens before taking it to Yellowstone and found all the big males hanging out together. The background was pretty uninspiring so I added some textures. Just look at those big racks!

Wow - how lovely to be able to catch all of these together in one spot. The background highlights them well.

That's a lovely one. Amazing quality for the lens. A thought... I might have tried lifting the shadows and exposure a bit for this shot. Those are magnificent beasts and worthy of a bit more detail. Just one person's thoughts. :)
