Best on black. Jim and I drove by the lighthouse lookout on our way back from our hike with Pearl and the light was shining through the fog. As soon as we got home, I grabbed my camera and tripod to go back for some shots. By then the fog was so thick you couldn't see the light and stayed that way the rest of the day. I thought the fog in the trees and the teeny bit of color from the ocean below were pretty and went ahead and took some shots. It does make you wonder how boats stayed safe in fog like that before we had more electronic warning systems for them.
Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs and for taking yesterday's big dipper shot to the TP and PP
Love this moody shot Jane, conveys the feel of the day very well. As for the ships etc I well remember standing on some high ground looking down at Port Phillip bay covered in fog so thick we couldn't see the water and listening to a symphony of fog-horns underneath the murk.
This great foggy image leads our imagination.
