The day Junko, Taffy, and I had a private workshop with Adam Schallau ( https://adamschallau.com/), we woke up at 4:45 to go out for sunrise. We were met with snow and icy thick fog and spent the first couple of hours sitting in a SUV waiting for the fog to lift. We couldn't even tell there was a canyon! Eventually we began to be able to make out shapes and to me it felt magical. Adam is a fabulous teacher, artist, and photographer and he really knows the Canyon. If you ever go there yearning for someone who knows the best spots and has lots to teach, I would highly recommend him.

SUCH a reminder of what it was like 90% of our time standing there! I linked this to mine which is upright, and focuses on the tree. Taken in one of those moments the fog cleared a bit. https://365project.org/jyokota/365/2018-10-21
