The hybrid rhodies with all their bright colors are just about finished but the subtle beautiful native ones are just in their most luscious. My heart opens in awe as we drive by them hidden in the woods. Of course I had to bring my camera and try somehow to capture the feeling I have seeing them. I don't think this shot does them justice but it comes closer viewed on black.

No wonder you love these plants and the forest Jane. It's beautiful. Quite different from anything I've ever seen here too which makes it even more interesting for me.
