What a thrill to see my little hummer on the TT this week. Thanks so much. It made my day in these days of stay at home orders. I had a little play with one of Jai Johnson's daily textures and a photo from my archives.
Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
I love this kind of background and just watched two different videos about how to process this...quick question...do you just download a texture image and then open it as a layer in photoshop (or other process program)? thanks...
@granagringa I open a texture in PS, drag it over the original photo, experiment with different layer styles and opacities, then mask out some of the texture to let what I want of the original photo to show through. Or, before I drag on the texture, I make a copy of base layer and make a selection of what I want to show once I put the texture on top and create a mask. In other words, I selected the rhino here, made a mask that I drug to the texture layer once I put it on so the rhino would come through. After that I tweak until I like the edge between rhino and texture. Hopefully that makes sense
@granagringa in ps, choose file ...open and point it to where you have it on your computer. If you have more questions, how about send me an email jgpittenger@ yahoo.com
