We had rain, sun, hail, thunder and lightening this morning and in the midst, this! Taken with my phone. It is a circumzenithal arch...thanks Marnie and Sally Agnew for that information.

Wowsers Jane, it looks very much like a circumzenithal arc formed as sunlight is refracted by the ice crystals of thin layers of high clouds. Love it :))
