Quidditch

Eddington is a new development in NW Cambridge which is something like the only city-university joint development in 800 years (I should have listened harder when the custodian of the community centre was telling me!) The university has a big influence and the build standards are very high with good green credentials. Of most interest to the more established neighbours it also has a moderately sized Sainsbury’s and I quite often cycle or walk over and buy more stuff than can comfortably be carried home.

Weather: feeling like spring may actually be a thing
Covid: vaccines are go - good news from all over
Good things: thank you Captain Tom - never too late to become a national treasure.
Very stylish. What is that colour in the sky? Spring you say? Not up north love.

No indeed, a life lead honourably & ended with his finest hour! Intriguing circles...if only we could see the players flying around!

Looks like a marvelous archetypal quidditch pitch. Captain Tom was a gift...a truly honorable citizen.

@denful I think they light up at night- I need to go and check. They signpost ‘quidditch’ so I’ve been assuming this is it!
