Happy Valentine’s everybody. It’s been a good day for putting my feet up and making use of the blanket I crocheted last year. Rafiki is quick to spot a video call and/or the blanket coming out and stakes a claim. Not a great deal to report other than I’m very pleased with a lovely huge bunch of tulips I ordered from a place in Ely which has reinvented itself as a flower delivery company (I missed the Friday delivery but they had an extra Valentine’s drop off) and a very nice Lebanese takeaway (although Nigel’s right that it tastes better in the garden on a balmy evening).
Weather: cold and dismal but warmer and dismal on its way!
Covid: 15 million people vaccinated at least once
Good thing: movie afternoon on the big screen - ‘I’m your woman’ written and directed by Julia Hart. Great soundtrack & we enjoyed the ‘slow 70’s gangster movie with a Thelma & Louise vibe’ (our review). It’s not 2 hrs of blood and guns....
Rafiki knows where she looks the best....I think your crochet rug looks amazing....you are a master! Hope you made her get off after she had done her modelling! Cat walk!
Rafiki seems to be confirming with that stare that there will be no discussion of relocation. Your blanket is gorgeous! Good review of 'I'm Your Woman'. Think I'll be watching that tonight.
Rafiki looks so content and affectionate on your work of art, hope she is not kneading it!
