Not my best ever offering but I found bluebell photography pretty tricky (I wished I'd read the discussion thread on the subject!) and Monty had found a furry or feathered woodland creature at this point and disappeared through this beautiful wood in fast and noisy pursuit. Nigel rounded him up eventually after he'd gone through the full gamut of surprise, excitement, chase, exhaustion, panic and search for owner. Not a whole lot different than the stages Nigel went through too!
Judith it is a lovely Bluebelle :) The colours are spot on and I really like the composition. You notice the extra 'e' i slip on my bluebelle's...I think it's quite continental and makes it a bit 'arty' :)
BTW: I like the words ' full gamut of surprise, excitement, chase, exhaustion, panic'..I went through those this morning with Ruby...she failed the 'let's go on the front street without a lead / harness test'...we waved our daughter and her boyfriend off and as they drove around the corner, she decided she would run after them ...queue Phil running full belt round the corner shouting 'Ruby ...No No No' ..luckily she stopped at the bottom of the road and returned back...Plil hoarse with shouting and out of breath !!!
@phil_howcroft you all need the dog Whisperier LOL, Judith, I agree with the comments above, this is perfect and I doubt if it can be improved on.Well done
@phil_howcroft@cookie123 Sounds like we both had the dog whisperer - Nigel was losing his voice and calling huskily as Monty disappeared into the blue yonder. Glad Ruby stopped! Monty and I have a range of tricks - beg, bow, twirl etc - but he does naughty as well!!
