When I spotted this little chap on a barge in Ely I was transported back to the children being in nursery school and all of us singing enthusiastically (but out of tune) about Santa being stuck up the chimney from November till January. He must have quite a hot bottom by now...

Aw poor Father Christmas !!! Lovely shot of this lovely red decked barge & shiny chimney ! I love to see these cosy living barges with smoke coming out of the chimney & there is one solitary leaf on the deck too . I remember that song & if it isn't going round my head now !!!
I meant to say yesterday Marrakech sounds so exciting & all those rich colours ,souks & market stuff to photograph you will be spoilt for choice !! Yes NZ for me just a flying visit for 3 weeks in middle of February ! We are going for Christmas next year so Harry isn't going with me, he is not a traveller so won't go twice in one year !!!!
@happypat Well you've got grandchildren to catch before they grow up too fast and it must be more relaxing knowing that Harry's holding the fort at home. And a whole Christmas there will be great!
