At the other end of the scale from the swan..... Lots of little birds hopping about with mouths full of insects. I saw a blackbird with five caterpillars and still looking this morning. It's a big responsibility.
great shot - I spent a while this morning watching a blackbird raiding my garden for nest building material - whilst daddy blackbird hopped around and watched!
@judithg what when he has to do his own washing and ironing?? tee hee! I must admit he's been having a bit of a spat with the local robin lately, so he is keeping an eye out for her!
Oh if only I had a massive lens........busy little birds aren't they wonderful. This looks a very sweet bird....just watching them all building & feeding, did we notice as much before 365?
robins are fabulous judith , they are really friendly (well towards humans they are, not too sure they are top of the league on bird to bird friendliness) , this is a fabulous shot
