Warped

First of all, the warped angles on the building are natural. They were not added in post processing; this building really does twist and sag. Second, the garish color of the trim is also really on the building. That color was not enhanced in any way! This building is next to - and the same color scheme of - a seasonal ice cream store, so I suspect this was the original. I also suspect that the building's no longer safe to occupy! At least, I don't think I'd be too eager to walk inside.

For post processing, I used Redynamix to bring out the broad textures. I then sharpened the image using an HDR filter in Topaz Adjust, applied desaturated with a high pass filter in soft light blend mode. A slight levels adjustment and a warming filter completed the image.
its like looking at a building through a fun house mirror!

Looks like one of the TV commecials for acid reflux symptoms...only with a house instead of a stomach! :-)

Another interesting find, Ron.

@jsw0109 Thanks, Jeff. That was my reaction when I saw it!
@cromwell Thanks, Cromwell. The Pepto Bismal color of the trim might have something to do with that!

I like the accented purples, great shot!

Great shot......makes me want to take a closer look, although not too closely as it looks like the building is bursting at the seams. Where is it?
@cromwell lolol

What a cool building, so much history!

@bobbyj Thanks, Bobby. It was the color of the trim that first caught my eye.
@allisonrap Thanks, Allison! Yes, it does look a bit overinflated. It's on Route 44 just over the Seekonk line from east Providence.
@karens68 Thanks, Karen! Yes, it's on 44 next to the ice cream place.
@mariboo Thanks, Missy! I love these barely standing structures.

Jim
nice find

haha, thanks for clarifying but I do think the trim looks attractive against the white! We have an upside down house here, must go shoot a picture of it one day!

@yentlski Thanks, Jim

@tooki Tooki, I'd love to see a shot of that upside down house!

This is a shot that would never have occurred to me to take. With your description, it does make one pause and reflect on it. Good job!

@new2this Thanks, Ann! I'm often drawn to the odd structure. If it's falling down in some way, there's a good chance I'll photograph it. LOL
