As some of you know, my mom passed away last December. The family plot is in St. Ann's Cemetery in Cranston, RI. In the late 1960s, my Grandfather bought a 6-grave plot in the cemetery, and gave two each to his son - my uncle - and his daughter - my mom. The grave was not marked, however, until this week. After my mom passed, my dad purchased the stone you see in this photo. From top to bottom on the stone are my grandfather (Antonio) and grandmother (Angelina.) My aunt Barbara is next. Her son (my cousin Frank) is in the grave originally intended for my uncle. My dad's name appears next in line, although he is still with us. My mom (Phyllis) is the last name on the stone.
The only processing I did was to merge the two photos into one. They were combined in PSE so as to (hopefully) preserve the EXIF data of the first shot. a very slight levels adjustment was added to the shot on the left. The one on the right is untouched.
