This pulley sits atop a barn on the 17th century Smith-Appleby House property in Smithfield. The barn was actually built in the 20th century but it's styled to match what would have been on the property, so the wood, the doors, and the window all are authentic to the period. Even the pulley matches a configuration common to that time period. What puts the brakes on the time travel, though, is that broken orange light right beneath the pulley. Anachronistic, indeed.
Post processing started with a highlight recovery filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted the levels slightly in PSE and added a deep blue photo filter to correct the color tones a bit.
