American's love ice cream. There's absolutely no denying it. The number of seasonal ice cream stands in Rhode Island is amazing. This one - the Dairy Bee - is near Crescent Park in East Providence. The advertising in the window is quite telling, though. Front and center is an add for "Only 8" Frozen Yogurt. The 8 actually refers to the number of ingredients, not the number of calories. The latter is very low, though, weighing in at a mere 32 calories per 1/2 cup. Surprisingly, given the no-fat aspect, it's very tasty. Despite being yogurt, it is really indistinguishable from ice cream. Of course, that doesn't stop me from ordering a hot fudge brownie sundae with whipped cream and nuts anytime I visit. Unfortunately, they were closed this morning when I took this photo. Or, given my growing waistline, perhaps that was actually fortunate.
Post processing started with a brilliant cold filter in Topaz Adjust. I adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was made in PSE.
