This small family-owned and run farm on the outskirts of Johnston, RI has been run by the Dame family since 1890. Originally a dairy farm with apple orchards, the Dame family in recent years eliminated the heifer portion of the business and focused entirely on the native agricultural products. It's a very popular destination for autumn "pick your own" apples and pumpkins, as well as hayrides and school and group tours of the fall harvest. Dame Farm remains a great example of pre-industrial Rhode Island.
Post processing started with a photo pop filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, and contrast. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
@jsw0109 I know, it's a tremendous difference. Smugmug is the truest I've found of any of the services I've tried. Even Flickr changes the sharpness and color saturation a bit. None of the ones I've tried do as much damage to the original as this site, though. It's the primary reason I post my 365 shots in multiple places and not just here.
