The Farmer's Market summer season is just getting started in Rhode Island. This small market at Goddard State Park in Warwick is in its fourth week now. Naturally, this early in the season, there aren't any local vegetables or fruits for sale, but this stand has plenty in the making. In today's photo, this couple is shopping for tomato plants. That's a bit of a Rhode Island tradition in itself. Tomatoes do extremely well in the state, and many Rhode Islanders have backyard gardens that include a handful of tomato plants. And zucchini... No Rhode Island garden is complete without zucchini.
Post processing started with a brilliant cold filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, and contrast. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
