When this photo was taken just before noon, it was 92 degrees and 52% humidity. That translates to a heat index of 101 degrees. Coming off the low humidity we had throughout May and June, today's heat index hit us like a ton of bricks. I stopped at India Point Park in Providence for a photo and spotted this biker just coasting down the path alongside the river. He did not look to be enjoying himself. Those sailboats moored just offshore had to look extremely inviting by this point. At least out there you'd get a breeze.
Post processing started with a brilliant warm filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, and contrast. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
