I went to Roger Williams Park for some photo opportunities at the Dominican Heritage Festival. Getting candid photos turned out to be nigh impossible. As soon as anyone - including these four girls - spotted the camera, they immediately started posing. Age and gender didn't matter. It was a day of "see the camera; pose for the camera." I spotted these four girls heading down the hill towards the Temple to Music and thought I'd get an interesting shot of them laughing amongst themselves as they walked along. Nope. The sharp-eyed girl on the left spotted me and called the rest of them to attention. Another posed shot. So much for the candid concept.
Post processing started with a brilliant warm filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, and contrast. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
