For today's photo I decided to visit Haines Park in Barrington. The location proved once again that finding an interesting photo is just a matter of finding a good background and waiting. The boats moored just off-shore are just that - an interesting background, but in and of themselves they don't make a fascinating photo. Fortunately, the gentleman in the rowboat started to row out to his boat - the one in the upper left - and his entrance into the scene as the subject suddenly turned it into an interesting scene. With increasing construction happening downcity, I may be visiting Haines Park more frequently this fall. Scenes like this do provide the motivation to return.
Post processing started with a brilliant warm filter in Topaz Adjust. I then adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and details. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
