It rained heavily all night and well into today. My original plan was to wait until after dinner to go downcity for some street photos after dark in the rain, but when I saw the fog rolling across the Seekonk River on my way home, I changed those plans. This being the day before Thanksgiving, I was concerned that there would be very little activity in the city in bad weather. Instead, I took the opportunity to capture this image from Bold Point Park, looking across the river at the power plant lost in the fog.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, color sensitivity sliders, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
