Low Visibility

Since my plans to visit Haines Point were preempted yesterday, I decided to make another attempt to get there today. There had been some light drizzle earlier in the day, and that may have been enough to keep folks indoors despite the relatively mild temperature. There was nobody in sight while I was there, which meant I had to make due with some static photos. Catching a pair of mute swans swimming past some American wigeons at least added a touch of life to the photo. What I found interesting was the low visibility looking beyond the docks. There wasn't any fog, but the visibility tapered off enough that you can't see the distant shoreline. If nothing else, it helps keep the eyes focused on the swans and docks.
Post processing started with a classic photo in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, and boost black. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
@cejaanderson I wish those were lights since it would make a great night photo. Unfortunately, those are pointed plastic caps they use to discourage gulls from sitting on the pilings. Nobody bothered to tell the gulls that, though.
@tigerdreamer I was surprised that nobody was around. It's a pretty busy park, normally.
