Last Minute Tuneup

I went to India Point Park at lunch today, hoping to photograph folks at the lunch truck that frequents the park. There was nobody buying lunch, though, so I wandered around looking for another subject. This gentleman had just gotten out of his SUV and was putting air in his bike tires before setting out on a ride. I spoke to him for a bit after taking this photo, and he was surprised to learn that access to the East Bay Bikepath is currently blocked from this location. I gave him directions to the Henderson Bridge - which is the current biking detour - and off he went. His plan was to ride the length of the path out to Bristol and back. You'll notice the clouds rolling in, though. Hopefully he doesn't get wet.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, and boost white. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
