I went downcity briefly this afternoon, and my attention was captured by this scene looking up Smith Street (Route 44) towards the Rhode Island State House. The changing sky, transitioning from cirrus to stratus clouds ahead of a front, added an interesting dynamic.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A black and white gradient map at 50% opacity and a levels adjustment were added in PSE.
