Cumberland, Rhode Island
The transportation center for the Providence & Worcester Railroad - a freight train that serves the industrial districts along the Blackstone River Corridor - is located on the Cumberland and Central Falls town line. This set of switches borders a residential district in the Valley Falls section. Now if only I can be at one of these locations when their trains are active. Unfortunately, they rarely run on weekends, and I work during the week. It's a bad combination, for sure.
Post processing started with a classic filter in Topaz B&W FX. I adjusted color sensitivity sliders, adaptive exposure, regions, contrast, boost black, boost white, and protect highlights. A levels adjustment was added in PSE.
Another great B&W capture/ Love the lines and textures and the way the ;right catches the buildings in the distance.
