Well I mention this yesterday, meet "Mowbot", our friendly grass eater that just gets on with it without any help. It is the robotic mower that automatically cuts the pitch of my Forest Green Rovers football club.
The groundsman can programme it to cut in various ways to leave different patterns in the grass. Once it's going it decides when it full and goes back to a place to empty the grass box itself and also if the batteries are going low, it returns to the point were it plugs itself in for a recharge.
I forgot to mention. if the robot has a problem then it sends a text message to the groundsman.
It doesn't make a cup of tea or vacuum the home though. I will get round to looking at your pics later as I'm off to the surgery for my flu jab.
My school needs this - every lunch break when we sit behind our football pitch there is a pretty big loud tractor who mows the grass and disturbs iur silence :(
What a smart mowbot. I was given a Roomba last Christmas by my Sister. I suspect she was desperate for a gift. It vacuums. It seemed okay until it got stuck under a very heavy armoire. We had to life the armoire to get it out. Haven't used it since.
I have just added something I had for gotten - if the robot has a problem then it sends a text message to the groundsman.
@fjmom Thanks Carol, the top of the wheel arches comes up to my waist, does that help.
