My get-pushed challenge this week from @Northy was to create images that were "dark and menacing".
Many people are unable to discuss, or even recognise their 'darkest' fears. Fear is confronting ourselves. Fear is personal. Fear lives in the darkness of our minds.
My 365 journey has taught me to 'see' and appreciate beauty everywhere, but this week I was asked to find dark and confronting images. With this in mind, it was incredibly challenging to -
'see' the crash repairers pile of mangled cars,
'see' the homeless in the street, and
'see' the despair caused by depression.
How do you know the difference between a confronting image, and the grotesque?
Where does the aesthetic and artistic line fall?
A great, but confronting challenge on several levels. I have really had to think & learn.

@northy I am disappointed that I had to work such long hours this week, limiting my options, but I really feel I have learnt a lot and will keep working on this.
