fewer rough edges

This souvenir shell has travelled with me as I have moved across the country and from state to state many times over the years. Taking this photo I see how many of the spikes have now been worn down over time. The rough edges are being smoothed by the passing of time. A bit like the process of teenagers growing into adults. :D
