expanse

A photo-stop on the way to San Pedro, and there are some great canyons & rock formations, but I am feeling very awkward with my brand new 17-40 lens. Landscapes are not my 'comfort zone' so let's see if I improve after a few thousand practice shots!

mmm ...lesson #1 I hear you say? ...."how 'bout composing so you don't position the 'feature' slap-bang in the middle of the frame" LOL!! oh well, this is only day one.
