I thought 365rs, they prob don't think about anything else all day! However your great article points us in positive everyday directions. Always interesting to read. Your shot illustrates it perfectly. Great contrasting textures with horizontal and vertical lines. The essential shadows and light too. Something mundane brought to life.
the different textures and warm earthy tones are quite engaging to the senses. your article reassures me that what i do is positive although i've been told thinking photography all the time would get me nowhere and i should stick to my day job. but now that i have some concrete encouragement, i shall think photography all the way and follow the rest of your advice. wonderful shot and wonderful article, damon.
Oh, I do like this. There is so much pleasure to be found in looking for the special in the seemingly ordinary. Lovely light, tones, textures and depth. I like the crop too. All very pleasing.
